Your home is a reflection of you.

Where you live is your home, but it is also, mostly likely, your greatest asset. Whether you are buying your first home, fifth home, or an investment property, it is BIG DEAL! I started moving around when I was 8 so I know how much work goes into every purchase and sale. Let me tell you my story.

My journey began at the age of 8, a nomad in the making. Over the years, I've explored different countries, navigated cross-country moves, and even pursued my education in Quebec. Yes, moving trucks and property agreements have become part of my story. Even as a teenager, I was always interested in how the process worked and often asked to sit in on the meeting discussing the contracts and minutia of selling our home, again.

In 2015, I, along with my partner Tyler, made a pivotal decision—our first home. An over-under duplex in Sherwood became our starting point. Little did we know, this purchase would spark conversations about obtaining my real estate license. The following year, 2016, saw us embarking on another adventure—a century-old house in downtown Charlottetown. By 2017, we took a bold step, Airbnb-ing our downtown property and converting part of the duplex into a furnished rental. This strategic move allowed us to embrace the Airbnb trend during the tourist season while managing life's other adventures, including the arrival of two of our little ones.

Spring of 2019 brought about a new chapter as we bid farewell to Island life and set our sights on the charm of Nova Scotia.

Year after year, Tyler and I discussed the idea of pursuing my real estate license. The timing never quite aligned, until January 2022. Fueled by determination, I enrolled in the Nova Scotia licensing course, acing the exam by April. In May, I began my career with MacKay Real Estate and the Annapolis Valley Real Estate Group in Wolfville, NS. An unexpected twist occurred during my first week—a job offer for Tyler that granted us the flexibility to choose our new home. The decision was clear: Charlottetown. In August, we started making the move, listing our Nova Scotia home. Within days, an offer was accepted, and by October’s end, we were island-bound once again.

November 2022 marked another chapter as I joined Provincial Realty in Charlottetown, PE. My mission? To blend personalized experiences with professional expertise, guiding clients through their real estate endeavours. In March of 2023, I had found a friend and partner at Provincial Realty. Brooke Miller and I joined forces to create the “Blue Door Properties” partnership and it has only been up from there.
